"In a houseful of toddlers and pets, you can start out having a bad day, but you keep getting detoured." ~Robert Brault
The blog has been grossly neglected lately. So have my floors, laundry, and cooking. I've had grand intentions of enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. It's too bad all-day-all-night sickness is so disagreeable.... it's really putting a dent in my plans. Once again, my Prince Charming has come to my rescue, taking on dinner, bath time, bedtime, and everything in between. He even called the "Sent From Heaven" maid service to come deep clean our house. I'm thinking that might not be their official name, but it should be. It's amazing what cleanliness can do for a person's psyche.

That little guy in the photo happens to be one of the sweetest, most thoughtful, tender, loving little men I've met. (Gee, I wonder where he learns all his gentlemanness from?!) One night at bedtime, I was feeling awful, and really couldn't participate in our night time routine. Trevor comes to my side, gently strokes my shoulder, singing "Feel better, feel better, feel betterrrrrr..." then tells me "that's the feel better song, Mommy." He prays for me, and rejoices with me when those meds are working and I'm feeling better.
Baby girl is (wow, I guess I'm gonna have to stop calling her that?!... it's just as well, she'd probably hate that in Kindergarten)... anyway... Baby girl is naturally cuddly and loving and she's been my couch buddy.
All of that to say, I'm incredibly thankful for my sweet lil' family and all of the ways they show God's love to Mommy. Now, if only I could teach Trevor to manage the blog.

My heart goes out to you, Heather...I remember how terrible that feeling is...how neglectful you feel towards everything...how you want to feel normal and enjoy spring...it'll get better about April. R&R were both September babies and April was the golden month. Hugs to you!!!
