Happy Half Birthday Tatum Lane!

I must admit, my heart is a little heavy when I look at her toothy grin, and toddlin' feet... she has maybe one pinky toe left in the realm of baby-dom. My baby girl is becoming a little lady. Sigh.

At the same time, I'm thrilled with the little personality running around the house, adding a touch of drama, and delight to every day. She is her brother's best friend, and biggest fan. He takes good care of her and is so, so, proud of her. Truth is, we all are.

We went to the doctor today for her big check-up and she did a fantastic job. She's not as timid in new situations now. She greets strangers with a flashy smile and a "hi." As our doctor did his exam, she thanked him all along the way. He'd look in her left ear, "tank you"...right ear, "tank you"...and when he'd finished "tank you, dot-door." And yes, she thanked the nurse after she was given her shots.

Tatum loves music and dancing. She tries her best to sing along with any song she hears on the radio, and she absolutely cannot help herself from dancing to even a hint of music. She is truly a joy. We love you sweet girl!
