The TRUTH...

You know you are BEYOND pregnant when:
  • Your one-year-old approaches you for you to hold him and just as he gets close enough for you to pick him up, he completely disappears under your belly. (And I thought not being able to see my feet was bad!)

  • Your husband takes your dog to "doggy day-care" for the day so as to provide mom some respite from our most difficult "child."

  • Having dog at "daycare" presents a problem mid-day when you realize there is now no-one in the house able to clean up under the highchair after lunch.

  • You become absolutely convinced that God is smiling on you as your one-year-old shows off his OCD tendencies and crawls under the highchair to clean it up HIMSELF.

  • Despite being unable to move and dealing with sporadic contractions (along with some non-sporadic ones) for two days, you find it absolutely necessary to be fully dressed, make-up on and hair done, at ALL times... just in case you have to jet to hospital unexpectedly.

  • When out and about, "Joe public" feels it appropriate to act on irresistible urge to say things like "any day now, eh?" or even better.."woah" or even better...those that say nothing and look-on with pity.

  • You recognize your toddler needs some new scenery and decide to go to the mall... only to arrive at your destination and realize you still have your slippers on!

Oh, Heather! I'm glad you're hanging on to your sense of humor... because that is FUNNY stuff.

Priceless! Glad to see you still have a sense of humor when I know it's uncomfortable! I totally remember losing Ty under my belly and going, "This ain't right..." and I still hate my dog but hate when he's not there to clean up. Or when I go to someone's house without a dog I'm always like, "Oh my you have to VACUUM after meals under your table?" It gives me just a hair of appreciation for the big beast. I thought just maybe this would be a "meet Tatum" post!

No... lol, I didn't go in with the slippers on. I called Jenny and went to her house for a little play date instead!
