This picture was taken on Halloween 2007. Trevor was 5 days old- it was his first trip outside. When I first looked at it a couple of days ago, I understood immediately why the coming of Fall this year seems to have brought with it such excitement and anticipation. While I've always looked forward to the cool relief that comes with the new season, last year brought a gift like I'd never known. It's truly amazing to think of how much he's grown in a year! I can't believe the new year will bring another tiny miracle this year... all I can offer is an emphatic "thank you" to our Lord-we are sooo undeserving.

Oh that is just precious. What a little punkin! Thanks for the encouragement--I am hanging on by a thread today...but I think it is still not as bad as it was with Charlie. I was a little sick with Ty but with her it was just horrible...which, as you know, makes it nearly impossible to care for your 6-9 month old during those otherwise fun months! So glad you're done with the sickness!
