Trey Braddock, Two Years...

My tiny baby boy turned TWO in September. We took him to Austin to visit with his Uncle Bryan and Aunt Keli and surprised the kids with a train ride on Thomas the Train! I promise they had fun. (Even though Trey cut his eye open before we left, and we sweat to death, and were then caught in an absolute downpour)... they had a blast, there just aren't many pictures to show for it!

I keep saying Trey is at my favorite age... and then he gets older and I say it again! Really, I think we're just able to enjoy toddler-hood this time around and the many many things that overwhelmed us our first go-round are now nostalgic and endearing. You'd think our "big kids" were in their 20's the way I talk about it. It's just such an incredible difference to have only one toddler in the house!

Trey is still our guy-smiley. He is funny, and sweet. He loves to cuddle, and still loves that paci. He is a skinny little thing compared to our others, and he's blonde!?! Developmentally, he's grown leaps and bounds (literally!) and as the days go by, we aren't so worried about where he's at. He's due for another round of scans to check for any suspicious growths, he isn't required to see his orthopedist for another year. I do know for certain, the only thing that slows this boy down is his go-with-the-flow attitude. He lives at his own pace and cannot be hurried... think Jimmy Buffett.

I can't imagine life without this little guy. He's taught me so much in these two short years without even trying. Love. Love. Love.

I took them out to take pictures, to hopefully get ONE decent photo of Trey. While we were there, I snapped a couple cute ones of the big kids too...
