A beautiful sunny Saturday. One of those Texas spring days where you try to fool yourself into believing it's never going to be warmer than 85, and that maybe, just maybe, that sweltering summer won't come at all. If you close your eyes, the wind through the trees sounds like ocean waves, and it's beach weather. The sidewalk chalk is fresh from the box, and the bubbles are filled to the top. These are good, good days.
