This week is Spring Break. Considering my big kids go to school only 2 days a week, you wouldn’t think a “break” would look much different from any other week. I’ve been pretty surprised to find that even a break from 2 days is a blessing. It’s nice to do what we want, without worrying about tiring the kids out too much before a school day. Monday, the weather was stunningly perfect. I kid you not, we spent 6 hours outside. We went to a local playground, then came back home, spread a blanket out on the front lawn, and hung out until daddy came home. It was blissful. Not too hot, not too cold, not too windy… perfect. I took one hundred and fifty-seven pictures. That’s not an exaggeration. It was one of those days when I wanted to somehow capture every single moment.
