Happy Chairs...

This weekend, I took on a little project in our kitchen… this was the inspiration:

 

 

 

The problem: is that not the most disgusting chair you’ve ever seen? What’s worse? There are five others that look just like it. It’s clear to me that these chairs were purchased “pre-kids.” Believe it or not, the fabric on these chairs was even treated with some sort of “fabric protection” guaranteed to thwart even the worst stains and marks. Clearly their product testing didn’t involve teaching toddlers to use cups and silverware while seated in said chairs. So when Nathan brought home this gorgeous bunch of roses, I just couldn’t take it anymore. Sitting anything on top of this table, only ever highlighted the deplorable state of the chairs.

 

After a $40 trip to the fabric store, a new stapler, and a few hours spent in front of the TV Saturday night…Ta-Da! Happy CHAIRS!
