Yesterday was Nathan’s birthday! He and I went out over the weekend to celebrate, but of course, had to have a little party at home with the kids. These parties always inevitably turn out to be more fun than I ever think they’ll be. The kids choose it all… and they did well! The cake was the most indulgent chocolate cake that the Market St. bakery offers, the plates were Disney Princess, and the napkins were Avengers. The party hats were bright balloons, and the favors were…well, noisy!
It’s always a joy to celebrate Nathan with our kids. They absolutely adore him and when given the opportunity to lavish him with love and attention, they certainly rise to the challenge. I’m convinced that every person on the planet should be able to enjoy the privilege of having Trevor Towers burst into your bedroom in the early morning (only 20 seconds after his eyes open) announcing “Today is YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!” The enthusiasm of that boy is such a precious gift… his excitement is contagious-even on an early Monday morning after waaay too few hours sleep.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a great picture of the man of honor yesterday… but here are a few shots of his biggest fans…
