Christmas 2011 was certainly a doozy. The days leading up to Christmas were filled with loss, and heartache, and hard times. And even so, there was abundant joy. Never has there been another year where the message of HOPE in Christ has been more poignant. One day, in the midst of it all, I heard "O Holy Night" and I know the lyrics will forever resonate within me and stir memories of 2011.

"...Long lay the world in sin and error pining, 'til He appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of HOPE, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn'... "
