Time to Party!...

This weekend, we had a little party to celebrate Trevor's FOURTH birthday. And for anyone wondering, no... I do not have it together enough at ALL to plan a birthday party while adjusting to life with a newborn. I have been blessed with absolutely amazing friends who took over the party planning for me. They planned every little detail to the absolute delight of my little guy. He requested a "Cars 2" party... and that's exactly what he got. "Thank you" doesn't even begin to say it... Jenny Buhl and Norilyn Alford... you are amazing.

Here's the birthday boy!Check out this CAKE! Isn't it perfect?! And it was absolutely delicious. The lady who made it lives locally and runs a business out of her home... if you're interested in awesome cakes, just ask me for her info! The weather was beautiful, so the kids were able to spend some time outside. Nathan was on camera duty and managed to snap this photo of Mary and me. I have no idea what's happening here, but clearly... we'd both been well trained in the "Investigative Mommy" pose. Ha!Sweet Caleb loving on baby Emily...Four year olds + Pinata= Best. thing. ever. After the party, my good friend Stephanie (who I've known since our first day in the dorms!) took the big kids to a nearby pumpkin patch to snap some photos... Goofballs...
Here's Aubrey, Tatum, Nathan, and Trevor.... Nathan is exactly 10 days older than Trevor. Sweet boys...Trevor's main request for his birthday was a "Finn McMissile Scooter"... this is what he meant:(I just love his tough guy face)

Speaking of tough guys... okay, not really tough... but here's what Trey was doing while the big kid played outside.
He is so squishy. He is so perfect. He is already so forgiving of so many things.... a natural third born.
