Tatum is napping. Trevor is playing in the playroom. I'm sitting at the computer, answering email. Trevor walks up without a word, a toy stethoscope in his ears. He places the stethoscope on my pregnant belly and as he walks away, says "Sounds good mom. I hear his swish swish swish.... his heart doesn't say boom boom boom." Smart. adorable. precious. sweet. sweet. firstborn.
