Her brother has been waiting for this day. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head. He has big plans for he and his little pink-clad shadow... and his shadow could not be more delighted!
GREAT job Tater-Tot!
And while I'm documenting milestones... I would be remiss to leave out the stats from Tatum's one-year check up. (By the way, were it not for the blog, my kids' baby books would be completely empty. At least this way, I get the dates and milestones down here and can come back and check in 6 months when I'm actually filling out the book).
So... she was a champ during her check-up. She hated the shots, but forgot about them fairly quickly after the fact. Not surprisingly, she measured off the charts again. She weighs 27lbs, 11.8oz. She is 31.25 inches tall, and her head circumference is 47.5. The doctor gave us the go-ahead to start her on milk, though he suggested we opt for 2% rather than whole, given that "she's clearly getting enough calories elsewhere." sheesh.
We also had a wonderful birthday party for our girl... I'm still rounding up pictures from all of my sweet friends and will definitely post about the party once they're all in-hand!

Okay she is a big girl. My daughter is big. She is the second to youngest in her class, and the tallest. She is wearing 2T and 3T clothing well...not loose at all.
BUT>....
She is 26 lbs and like 33 tall.... so that makes me wonder about your girl too. Are we going to have tall girls? LOL
What percentile is she in? Morgan is always over 95th.
Yea for walking.... who needs a gym when you have a new walking toddler. :)
Yay Tatum! You SNOWED Charlie, girl. Charlie wasn't walking at this age...
and I always said it was because she was off the charts but Miss Tatum is proving that wrong-Charlie was always tall and she is still right at the 95th percentile in weight. Wearing 4T and some 5T clothes. We started her right on 2 % milk too! She still savors whole milk when we give it to her. She's no fool.
Would love to have y'all come play one day soon. Let's make it a regular thing!
And um I meant that Charlie wasn't CRAWLING let alone walking at that age!
Yay, Tatum!!! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!
I'm right there with ya on the Baby Books. One day I hope life will slow enough that I can start getting the Blog pages printed into book format...who knows though!
