A Room With a View...

I had no clue when we bought our home (before kids) that the giant window in the living room would prove to be so valuable. Trevor spends countless hours racing his trucks up and down the sill. And for each of our babies...it's been one of the most enticing and rewarding places to practice standing. For them, it's truly a window to the amazing world around them. It's where they can safely see their first booming thunderstorm. It's the place they first notice the leaves blowing in the wind, and the sun peeking through the trees. It's responsible for the pure elation and excitement our kids experience every weekday evening when their daddy's car appears on the other side. Is it covered with grubby little hand-prints? For a little while maybe... I only wish it could stay that way.
