MEMO

Re: Sleep
Date: Better late than never

Family protocol calls for the proper morning wake-up time for children to fall anywhere from 7:30am to 8:30am. Should you feel the need to wake prior to the suggested time-frame you should do whatever is necessary to promptly go back to sleep. Lying awake for 30-45 minutes, making cute babbling sounds and squeals prior to return to sleep is unacceptable. It is unacceptable to sleep through suggested wake-up time frame, due to exhaustion brought upon by early morning shenanigans.

Friends, our sweet, sweet girl is killin' our routine. When our sleep routine is off, everyone suffers. 95% of mom's energy goes toward constant re-evaluation of sleeping and feeding times to accommodate over-tired, cranky babies. Cranky and over-tired often means too tired to eat, which leads to starving kids who in turn don't sleep well.... and so on, and so on. Somethin's gotta give. So- sweet Tatum, here's the MEMO love- learn it well.
