It seems impossible... but still it's true! Yesterday, Tatum turned 6 months old. I am equally thankful, and a bit sad that these past 6 months have flown by so fast. Let's face it, life with a newborn, while unique and beautiful- is exhausting. I know I've said before that Tatum is gifted with patience and kindness and a million other virtues that make her a dream-come-true easy baby. But there is really a LOT more to my sweet girl that makes her wonderful.
She is a cuddler... she LOVES to snuggle her squishy self all up in my arms and watch the world go by. I have no objections... at least not until kindergarten. Not only does she love to be held, she loves to hold YOU! When I'm carrying her, she grabs ahold of my shoulder and my neck and holds on... it's probably something she's learned to do for fear of being dropped while Mom chases her brother. It doesn't matter to me...it's sweet. When she cries her loudest cry it's not very loud because she cries hearty raspberries... very uniquely Tatum.
We went to the doctor for her check up yesterday and learned...shocker..., she's a big girl! She now weighs 20lbs, 10oz., and she's 28.25 inches long. Basically, she's off the charts. When her brother was 6 months, he weighed just 5 ounces more, and was an inch shorter. They seem to look more and more alike as the days go by... but still, he favors me, she favors her daddy. I took a few pics of her this morning to mark the day...

Happy 1/2 year baby! Isn't crazy the born months go by so much faster that the pregnant ones? Maybe its because you're not so miserable! She is a big girl, our Lizard weighs 18lb 7 oz at 9 months. She just started chunking up and I love it! I am blogging more now, its so good to keep up with guys.
You did an AWESOME job with these pictures! They look so, so good! I took a screamer picture of Ryder last year when I was trying to take pictures for his birthday invitation...he cried the whole time...I still used the picture. For the Invitation I put: "Its My Party & I'll Cry if I Want To..."
She is definitely a Keeper!!! :)
She is beautiful! Love the pictures!
