Today we went to Reverchon park downtown to check out the festivities at the Rise N' Shine 5K run. This is an annual event to benefit the Rise School. The initial plan was for Nathan to run in the race, but unfortunately, he hurt his foot and had to sit this one out. We still had a ton of fun checking out the music, food, bounce houses, face painting, and even a petting zoo. Trevor is still a little young to appreciate a lot of it, but he certainly had a good time. We took his picture with a couple of the Dallas Cowboys' Cheerleaders. I love the look on his face... he seems thrilled right?! Big thanks to Kevin and Francine Forman for giving us heads up on this super-fun event!
