Movies are fantastic. Now that we're in that phase of life where we can now say "I don't remember the last time I saw a movie in a theater," I have a whole new appreciation for Netflix. Right now, all of the movies that came out in theaters during the first few weeks of Trevor's life, are now becoming available on video. Last night we watched "Martian Child" with John Cusak. I LOVED this movie! I actually watched it once by myself last night and when Nathan was free to join me toward the end of the movie, decided to watch the whole thing again from the beginning with him. I'm not a movie critic, and I have no intention of pretending to be one for the sake of this blog. I will say that it's a must see for anyone who loves children. More specifically, it's for those who love the uniqueness that is divinely impressed upon each child. Or for those who have ever been the only one in the room when a very wounded, guarded child breaks away those brick walls in front of him and stands vulnerable before you. So anyway, take the time to watch it and judge for yourself. It's okay if you hate it-I won't take it personally!

I concur - any movie Heather doesn't sleep through, especially twice in a row, must be a good one. And that's the extent of my blogging abilities...
